Ross Salawitch is a professor from the University of Maryland's Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Science. He has a Bachelor of Science in Applied and Engineering Physics from Cornell University, a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Harvard University, and completed his postdoctoral studies at Harvard. His primary research interests include the effects of human activity on the composition of Earth’s atmosphere; stratospheric ozone depletion and recovery; air quality; and the global carbon cycle. Professor Salawitch has participated in numerous atmospheric chemistry field campaigns and NASA Earth observing satellite missions. He is author of more than 130 peer-reviewed publications and recipient of numerous honors and awards for his research in the field of environmental science.

Pascale Maslin is the founder of Energy Efficiency Experts. She holds a Masters Degree in Environmental Science from the University of Arizona. Her background in environmental research includes 8 years conducting whale and dolphin research and leading rainforest, marsh, and coral reef collection expeditions for the Biosphere II project. In 1994, Pascale Maslin was closed inside the self-sustaining biosphere for 6 months, charged with maintaining and operating the electro-mechanical systems. Pascale Maslin is also the co-founder of the Cool Capital Challenge, a campaign to reduce metro DC's carbon dioxide emissions by 1 billion pounds by Earth Day 2008 and an additional 2 billion pounds by Earth Day 2009. In addition, she has been performing energy audits since May of 2007.



Jason Fitzgerald from Carbon Fund. Jason Fitzgerald is a Climate Change Specialist and manages the small business and REC program. He is responsible for developing customized carbon offset programs for small businesses, creating shipping programs, and helping organizations meet LEED and EPA Green Power Partnership requirements with Renewable Energy Credits. Prior to joining Carbonfund.org, Jason worked for a large e-commerce company in Boston. He earned a dual B.A. in Government and Urban Studies from Connecticut College and competed in cross country and track and field.
